Mae performed their 2005 album "The Everglow" front to back at Union Stage in Washington, D.C. on November 26, 2021. It was pretty amazing to see how much love this music still gets after all this time, especially since it has been a while since the band was last on tour.

All of these reds looked really cool during the show, but they were super difficult to shoot through and get the camera to properly focus.
I ended up with so many photos of Taylor that night because he was comparatively so much better lit. Ryan Hahn was mostly stuck in the shadows and my puny RX-100 MIII really doesn’t have the range to capture the back rows very well.

I believe in peace and love and forgiveness but these motherfucking people can burn in hell. I almost lost it when Conor played Roosevelt Room. It's an incendiary anthem for 2017 if there ever was one.
I'm sure that the Felice brothers gained heaps of new fans that night as well. They backed Conor up on most of the congs.
I definitly lucked out to be this close to him for all of the songs he played on the piano.
Orri Páll Dýrason, drummer/multi-instrumentalist for Sigur Rós. Saw them a few weeks back in Maryland. Loved the light programming for this show.
They also played a good number of songs off of their self-titled album and one or two off of For Emma, Forever Ago. I think this shot was from Skinny Love .
Had such a great time seeing Bon Iver last week. Driving out to Merriweather is always a pain (thanks Brent) but in this case it was well worth the traffic.
I'm so glad that they played a mix of old and new stuff. Although the audience loved the new music, they were singing along and hanging on every word of the older songs.
Amazing Set
Georg looking intense as always. the storm and the cold defineately enhanced the...Icelandic feel of the show.
The lighting effects (light bars, hanging LEDs, customized video/animations and a screen behind it all) all added to the feel.
